Texas Power has become a fairly well known name in the marketplace of Texas Electricity. While their prices are not the lowest in Texas, they are very competitive. They over variable and fixed electricity plans, and have recently added a new 100% green variable rate plan. They also have online ordering and account management. In terms of customer incentive programs, they are a bit lacking, however. They have a special package for military personnel, and they have a referral program for customers who get a friend or family member to sign up, but that is the extent of their incentives. Their PUC complaint rating is about average.
