There’s been a lot of different articles and publicity talking about how the Texas Deregulated Electricity Market was ranked #1 recently in a survey of all the deregulated markets in the United States. How, this is a cool honor, but it’s also fair to keep it in the context that there’s only a couple handfuls of deregulated markets in the country. Texas should be ranked number one. We’re way ahead of everyone else in terms of our marketing and the ability of the REPs to work together with the TDSPs, ERCOT, and the Public Utilities commission.
Still, congratulations are in order for Texas. Texas Electricity is still number 1, and more importantly, we’re better position moving forward because deregulation gives us an advantage and incentive to advance and improve our grid technology and the efficiency of our companies that sell us electricity.
