Good afternoon, everyone. Our second shopping guide entry of the day examining the rates in the Texas electricity market will focus on Centerpoint Energy. Centerpoint covers Houston electricity. Electric rates in Houston are more expensive than the prices available in Dallas, but there’s still plenty of opportunities to save money, particularly on long term electricity rates. Last week’s ice storm will probably result in some electricity spikes for several plans on the market, but the long term fixed rate electricity should still be the best deals on the marketplace.
