Ok, it’s Tuesday so we’re going to take a look at the electric rates<\/a> for Fixed Plans in the state of Texas. With summer knocking on our door, it would be a good idea to lock in long term rates while they’re exceptionally low, as they are now, before the summer heat starts drastically raising the rates. Summer is always the most brutal time of the year for Texas electricity<\/a>, so everyone might be well served to lock in guaranteed low rates while they can.<\/p>\n

  • Champion Energy – 9.5<\/li>\n
  • Dynowatt – 9.6<\/li>\n
  • Texas Power – 9.6<\/li>\n

    1 Year Plans<\/p>\n

  • Champion Energy – 9.3<\/li>\n
  • Mega Energy – 9.4<\/li>\n
  • Kinetic Energy – 9.5<\/li>\n

    2 Year Plans:<\/p>\n

    Lots of different options for cheap Electricity<\/a> this week. Champion Energy shows the lowest plans almost completely across the board, with Gexa chiming in for an ultra low 3 month plan, which they have listed as a Special Rate. Also, strange that the 12 month rates are actually cheaper than the 3 month rates. Looks like electricity companies are looking to give customers an incentive for signing up for an entire year instead of just riding out the summer heat. So read the fine print.
