Most require a few small purchases and a little DYI know-how. But the time and money you save can add up to HUGE savings on your electric bills.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wash Clothes in Cold Water<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hot water is rarely necessary for washing clothes unless your laundry is extremely dirty. Make sure you set your water temperature to cold for most of your loads.
