I’m going to do something else a little different with the Texas electricity guide, starting today. Previously, I’ve broken down the rates by the type of electricity, be it fixed rate plans, month to month plans, or green energy plans. I’m still going to list the rates out by that plan, but at the same time, I’m going to organize the plans first by city, or area of Texas. So today, we’ll be looking at Dallas electricity and Ft. Worth electricity. Which is really the same thing as saying the electricity rates for the Oncor area, but most people probably understand Dallas/Ft. Worth a bit more intuitively than Oncor TDSP. Hopefully these changes should make the shopping guide more accessible to everyone. Tomorrow we’ll do Houston/Centerpoint, and then I’ll round it out with the other areas of Texas. Lets take a look at the rates.

Month to Month Plans:

Dynowatt – 7.1

StarTex Power – 7.1

Dynowatt – 7.1

Southwest Power & Light – 7.2

Month to Month Green Energy Plans:

Dynowatt – 7.6

Southwest Power & Light – 8.1

YEP – 8.2

Fixed Rate Plans:

Spark Energy – 6 Month Fixed Plan- 7.9

Brilliant Energy – 6 Month Fixed Plan – 7.9

Spark Energy – 6 Month Fixed Plan – 8.0

Amigo Energy – 6 Month Fixed Plan -8.0

Spark Energy – 12 Month Fixed Plan – 8.5

Amigo Energy – 12 Month Fixed Plan – 8.5

YEP – 12 Month Fixed Plan – 8.5

Texas Power – 12 Month Fixed Plan – 8.5

Brilliant Energy – 24 Month Fixed Plan – 8.9

APNA Energy – 24 Month Fixed Plan – 9.0

Texas Power – 24 Month Fixed Plan – 9.0

Fixed Rate Green Energy Plans:

Southwest Power & Light – 6 Month Fixed Plan – 8.8

YEP – 6 Month Fixed Plan – 8.9

Amigo Energy – 12 Month Fixed Plan – 8.8

Southwest Power & Light – 12 Month Fixed Plan – 8.8

Kinetic Energy – 24 Month Fixed Plan – 9.3

YEP – 24 Month Fixed Plan – 9.4

Happy Monday, everyone.
