In a companion entry to my last Blog Post, as well as some conversation that has taken place on the Texas Electricity Ratings facebook page<\/a> I’d like to announce that in the near future, the Texas Electricity Ratings<\/a> ranking system will include the J.D. Power and Associates customer satisfaction survey. This just gives Texas Electricity Ratings another credible source to utilize in painting an accurate picture of the different REPs operating in the deregulated Texas market<\/p>\n

The J.D. Power and Associates customer satisfaction surveys customers and ranks the different providers<\/a> on a scale of 1-5 in 4 different categories: Customer Service, Communications, Cost, and Billing. These rankings combine for an Overall Customer Satisfaction ranking. The plan is to unveil the new rankings on the website including these factors within the next two weeks to create an even more robust and complete image of the electric providers in the state of Texas. StarTex Power won the J.D.Power award this year for best overall customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
