My StarTex Power

  I have been a StarTex Power customer for about 4 years at 2 home addresses, one being an apartment and one being a home and a business. When I first heard of StarTex and changed from "The Bigger and Well Known" company, I was impressed with StarTex's superior customer service, then shocked at the immediate drop in my electric bills. When I was in the process of moving into my home, which did not go as planned, I worked closely with the SAME customer service representative who again did not waiver in her performance and met all of my needs without a hitch. Since StarTex Power had been so awesome with service and pricing, when I opened a business, they again, provided the best customer service and quote. I have dealt with only one other electric company in my life and I have to say there is absolutely no comparison between these two companies. If you are with anyone other than StarTex Power, you should, at the very least, try them for one year. No hidden fees either, just ask.

  If you are looking for a new company and are thinking about StarTex Power, go for it. However, like with any other company, be ready to make your next move before your contract is about to expire. I have used StarTex for a long time. Unfortunately, their rates went up, so I went away and singed a contract with another company. I contacted customer service a couple of times, and all went great. They speak good English and good Spanish and are professionals.

Very Impressed with 4 Change Energy

  I am so happy to have found this very affordable electric company! I was pleasantly surprised to receive such low monthly bills. I love the weekly home energy reports that compares the week prior & the current week plus they include energy saving tips. I also love the charity donations of your choice that's 4% of your monthly bill. Also my connection was simple & online billing is super easy. They also offer "refer a friend" $25 credit. I have referred three friends who have switched & are so happy to be saving money. Occasionally we will text each other our monthly $ just because we are so impressed with the low amount / charge.. I definitely recommend 4 Change Energy!!

Hassle Free - the way electricity should be.

  Easy to sign up - online, no agent trying to talk you into a particular plan. I was able to make my choice without someone pushing me to it.

Never had a billing issue, 4 Change always sends me an email reminding me that my credit card is about to get a charge --- and it includes the amount. No surprises.

  I have joined Ambit Energy for 2 years now and I have no problems. knock on wood! The renewal rate is competitive to other company and the customer service was great when I called in. I love the points that I can use to travel and book hotel. I am saving up my points to take a trip to Cancun. How many company out there can offer you that for using their energy. I have this great consultant that answer all my questions and concerns. I have referred 10 customers already. 5 more customers and I will get free energy. This is a great company.

I Like Green Mountain

  At the time of deregulation, Green Mountain (GM) was the only company offering renewable energy. It cost more, but I chose GM for that reason. I've been with them ever since. I even sold GM for a year, because the company is good and I believe in clean energy. As a customer, I have never had a problem with billing or customer service. The website is excellent. I am only considering, and I mean only considering, switching companies because there are now companies with competing wind/renewable energy plans, but most look like bad companies, except Champion, whose rate is comparable to GM. Maybe the grass isn't really greener on the other side of the fence, and this cow will stay home.
