  I have been with the company for over 2 years and have had not problems. I responded to a sales rep who came to my door. What was promised actually occurred!

  While I like to make sure my payments are done on time and not being late I have REALLY struggled in getting that completed in calling Pennywise Power today. I set up an auto bill pay (which I struggled getting done) at the beginning of the year in January or so. Now that I have been making the payments on the 7th of every month (which is pay day so I always have money that day which is why I set it like that) I always have a balance forward on my account causing my bill to constantly show a bill of over $200 when in reality only $100 are due.

That aside I got charged by Pennywise power for 2 charges of $120 and change in one month which was due to a "System Mistake" so this caused the auto bill pay to charge me over $200 one month for 2 months of service which by the way left me with hardly any food and gas to get to work. I walked most of that month due to this. (What a work out though)

After speaking to a rep and a supervisor I learned that with this auto bill pay I am in is causing my bill to show a balance forward due to a bill that was supposed to be due a month and a half ago. which is why im always showing a high bill. This to me is unsatisfactory as I like to make monthly payments and this company is not withdrawing my payments on time.

I really cant wait until my contract is over but thank GOD it is only 2 months from now. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family members. Good prices Bad BAd BAD billing methods and customer service satisfaction.

Poor customer service

  Was billed twice in a month, cycle closed one day and the next day they created another billing cycle.
Tired to explain but they just stuck to their policy. Not interested in resolving issue.

  I couldn't be more dissatisfied or appalled by a company that I have been a loyal customer for years with. I was charged more than double my monthly payment this month for using the same amount of wattage I have been using for several months. This is how you treat your loyal customers: changing my bill from 9 cents per watt to 20 cents per watt without any notification. Steadily raising your prices so the consumer won't notice. I'm letting everyone know, this is not acceptable. As soon as I can, I am changing energy companies and telling as many people as I can to change too!

  found cheaper plan, they would not offer same plan after contact up,so on last bill i did not get my usage credit, then they want to why i am leaving to another provider!!! i pay my bill on time and this is the way they treat you!!!

I can't wait till My Contract is OVER!!!

  I really dislike this company. They have horrible customer service. I was charged a deposit after being with them a Year due to the fact that I had to make a payment arrangements for my summer bills. I was never disconnect but charged 20 dollar disconnect fee. When I called customer care upset all they did is tell when my contract was over. I am switching asap do yourself a favor and choose another company.

Ambit Sucks!

  Customer services is NOT helpful at all. They are rude, disrespectful and utterly disappointing. They messed up our transfer of ownership and treated as a new account, cutting up our power supply after telling them time and again that we were living in the apartment and we had powersupply. We called them after noticing that we had no power and they just gave us the runaround and told us that it will take them 3-5 days to restore energy, and they were sorry and could do nothing about it. They even turned down the request to transfer us to a higher authority. We ended up cancelling ouraccount and now we have to search for some other provider with no power in this 100 degrees heat and a fridge full of food.

  After we had been sweating for the past 2 months and making sure lights are off at all ties etc... my bill was at $720.00. I was getting all these change charges when i didn't even change the services. Ridiculous!!!!! Never have I gone over a 2-300.00 bill.

  very disappointed with customer service, was on the phone for almost one hour and all that they could do for me was offer me a $25 credit after my bill practically doubled. Do admit that I was at fault and since did not select a service plan, they conveniently placed me on plan that was charging me .15-.16 per kilowatt, only good thing about it is I have no contract so I am free to change providers.
