     i'm all about supporting new smaller businesses but i don't think data information is managed well here. i don't think i've had so many issues with a provider since i've been on my own.
    issues since jul 2015, we are in dec 2015 as i type this out:
    1. since i joined in july i was promised a 25 credit after 90 days and each time i call after this time frame, they say, i promise, the next invoice you will see it. this is with every rep i talk to. my neighbor who referred me can't get her 25 either. we still have not rec'd the credit.
    2. 1st billing i got, there was a charge for underusage when clearly i was just switched over and had a shorter statement cycle - why would i be penalized? they waived it but for it to appear automatically tells me the customer setup/billing system sucks if they blanket apply to all statements regardless of when a new customer was switched over.
    3. i've received messages from their IT system about how their system was down and/or there were billing errors
    4. after point 2 above, i've received 2 additional statements with billing errors: one in conjunction with the above point 3 IT system issue (per rep) where they charged me a late fee when i'm on autopay? and another where they gave me a credit (not the 25) and then took it back.

    save your time and money folks. they are too much of a hassle to deal with considering all the phone calls you have to make. i don't know where the issue is? the reps are nice enough and they put in the notes and all but it appears to be a system issue? i don't know. i'm tired of making notes about who i speak to and when and what they say. ridiculous.

     They are the best when you are a new customer at their low rate but once you sign a contract (because you want to be loyal) it's over! They will increase your usage and you can't figure out why. You get your crazy high bill; yet, you can't see the invoice detail. You are still baffled and confused, so you start doing dishes by hand, not using your dryer, cutting the wash down and turning off the AC. I never use light but I started leaving the couple lamps off. Turning tv's off and unplugging anything that might be adding this unusual increase in usage.
    You call, they always blame the AC and summer yet I am consistent from year to year and month to month. One person with same habits.
    One bedroom 900 as ft apt and my bill usage was 1600 kilowatts. The highest it's ever been was one summer when my dog was dying and I was doing her bedding a lot so it was 1400 klw.
    When I first moved in and I had to wash all my linens, blankets and clothes it wasn't 1600 klw. it was 1275klw in June in Texas same month as now and it's all the sudden 1600 klw.
    I bragged to everyone and I'm in real estate. I will now make sure to tell everyone NO now.
    They want me to pay $200ish to terminate and $200ish for the ring doorbell I could easily return as it's still in the box.
    I loathe these people for lying. I asked her how much my biggest bill would be at my highest usage at the new rate she said; it shouldn't be more then $125ish my bill is over $165. I'm cancelling services because I don't trust them and I don't want to think about them ripping me off every month. I'll take the hit before I let them rip me off every month with lies about my usage!

     Initially, it was fine, prices are what I expected. They gave me a $200 credit which covered multiple months of charges. I was really happy and recommended their service to others. Then the bill began to climb. I paid what they said I owed, but there was always a balance forwarded. I asked for explanations. Now, they have my bill 240 due, with 174 due on May 7th. My personal audit showed they charged me twice in Feb, 2018. I sent them an email, explaining the over charge. I'm a senior citizen, healing over a bad car wreck , unemployed. I walk around my apt. in the dark, to save, wrapped up in a blanket to save, don't have a washer/dyer. Don't use the dishwasher, don't iron, bath once a week, keep the blinds closed. I swear, this feels like elder abuse. I need your help. It seems no conversation with their customer service with resolving problems never makes it to their accounting, so the price keeps ramping up

    Our ussage makes no sense

     Signed on with TX Dec 2012 our usage stayed pretty moderate thru August under 1000 KWh during that period we received assistance on our bill (May - Aug) Sept & Oct our usage skyrocketed to 1300 KWh then Nov & Dec it dropped to under 1000 KWh and then Jan shot up to 1300 KWh again, this makes no sense to me, June - Aug we ran 3 window ac's and 2 ceiling fans pretty much all the time, From Nov up until now. we have used 1 radiator heater and one fan heater just enough to take the chill of in the morning in the evening while we get dressed during the day they are off my wife uses an electric blanket as needed to warm the bed before she gets in to it and occasionally she wakes up in the middle of the night chilly puts it on to warm up then turns it off.. We have no washer or dryer and our stove is gas and we have installed energy efficient light bulls throughout the whole house so our bill to go up that high makes no sense to us. The Base charges, & TDU charges alone are $50 a month I am on Social Security Disability income of $815 a month and cannot afford a $200 a month Electricity bill.

     Info that was given from this electric to help me save was wrong. I'm having to spend twice as much as I did with my last. I don't recommend, unless you want something close to the expensive prices like TXU and reliant. Not recommended for low income families.
