Bounce Energy is much better than TXU.

(5 / 5)

6 Months ago I switched to Bounce Energy from TXU and there is a world of difference.

1. Bounce Energy has lower prices than TXU.

2. The ELS level is 1500 on a Bounce energy plan while TXU was 2000, I have not had to pay any fees for not using enough electricity. TXU always hit me for this fee.

3. The $60 discount code when signing up took three bills to show but was nice when it did.

4. I value paying my bills on time and Bounce Energy rewards me for my good behavior, something TXU always managed to screw up. My AMC movie tickets are on the way, I love it.

5. The customer service has been great I haven't had to have any contact with Bounce Energy since I signed up. When I was with TXU I had to talk to a person I could not understand that I could tell was in INDIA every other bill because they would over charge me constantly.

I recommend that everybody check out Bounce energy's web site and check out what their plan for your area and the cost per kw.

Bounce Energy is great.

Best rate for us

(4.4 / 5)

I pay less then half per K wat hour then I did when I lived in El Paso and our monthly bill for a roughly 3k sq ft home is under what my 2 bed room apartment was in El Paso. Other companies we surveyed had hidden costs they tried to conceal until it was too late to get out of a contract with out penalties.

They called trying to get me to switch to them as a provider. When I said no they threatened to cut my power off. Avoid them at all costs. A joke of a company if they need to resort to those tactics.

Lying to see my current bill

(1 / 5)

A Think Energy rep arrived at my doorstep today claiming that I recently switched to their company and that he needed to see my bill in order to verify. I asked the name of his company and went to check if that's what it said on my bill. Clean Choice Energy is my current company and we're very happy with them. I went back to the rep at my door and he said that the name changed and he needed to verify. He was going to take my bill out of my hands without me handing it to him! I said no thank you and that we were fine. But why were they lying when Think and Clean Choice are indeed 2 different companies?!

Horrible company to deal with

(1 / 5)

I had use this company as my home gas supplier for many years as my friend refered, This month, I received a huge bill for my gas compare with last month, I talked to them and find out I did not call them to renew my energy saving program on time, this program need to renew every 12 months. the BIG problem is if you miss renew, the gas rate is up from $0.29 to $1.06, it is more than 3 times you suppose to pay, especially the renew time is in the most coldest weather, just last month, I OVER PAY $191 for my home gas. I called them to renew the saving program and ask them to adjust my current bill, BUT THEY DO NOT DO IT, I EVEN TALKED TO THE SUPERVISOR, they still do not adjust it. They claim using their company, we can save 1% of GAS, BUT they aks me to pay 300% more just because Iforget to renew my program . I think this company is cheating people. they should charge normal local gas company rate (1% higher) if we forget to renew the program, not 300%, I want to know if any other peopl have same problem with this company and we can complain it to BBB together. We need stop this cheating behavior from this company.

Ive talked to 3 different people in the sales department and they are the most uneducated, unhelpful, rude people ive ever spoken to, the other people in the other departments are some what more helpful but it still ends in me getting transfered to sales where they cant help you at all, they act like its a hassle for them if you have a questions for them, i think they might be a good company but they defantly need to fire the whole sales department, I would have so much rather gone with Bluebonnet Electric Coop. but they dont sereve that area.

In the end i went with TXU to save time, not because i wanted to

No need to go green to save money, just buy cheaper energy.

(0.6 / 5)

Three years ago I got out of the Marines. Two years ago I bought my first house and signed up with my first electricity provider TXU. From the start TXU was hard to deal with.
TXU employees (bad english half of the time) will lie to your face and smile, and if you say something they don't like CLICK is all you hear as they hang up on you time after time. One time during my 2 year contract I had to go to the extreme of contacting the Texas Public Utility Commission for resolution to an obvious error on TXU part. They also sold me electricity on a scale I could never match with my usage so every month I paid extra for using less. If you do sign up with TXU you can look forward to the day your contract ends (or a cancel fee) I know I did months before hand. My contract ends in a week and I can say there is a spring in my step today. TO HELL WITH TXU. I'm going to Bounce Energy baby!!!

Took my check and disconnected service without notice

(0 / 5)

I became a Ambit Consultant and at first the service was great. After about 3 months my associate was becoming a nussiance at the property I work at with trying to recruit more marketing consultants. After several of my residents complained about their service being disconnected without notice and complaints from residents their associate was harrasing them to become a consultant, I decided to cancel my monthly website with Ambit on 1/15/2010. Now on May 5th,2010 my power was cut off after Ambit cashed my electric service check on April 15th and then they automatacilly started charging me again for the monthly website fees to be an Ambit Marketing Consultant. This company is not organized nor professional. I would not advise any person to join their services or marketing it is a horrible scam.
