Best move ever, confused with this site!

  The best thing I ever found on FB was a shared link for Pronto. As a former customer of Frontier and Payless (should be called Paymore Power), I know you must be in bed with Payless. Pronto Power by far has the cheapest rates, you dont need auto pay, you dont need to have over $30 in your account, Pronto rates are simple and easy to under.
Customer service folks offer extensions till my next payday when I cannot make a payment (no charge, thank you for being a customer), one of the main guys there (Aaron) goes far and beyond to breakdown my electricity usage by the hour, shucks he broke it down by every 15 minutes. To start all I had to pay was $9.99, then asked for a payday extension.
Morning text messages around 7am (back up alarm clock), there is no charge on disconnection or to reconnect (this old bird forget to call in) just paid my balance and power was restored in less than 30 minutes.
Paymore Power folks keep calling offer $100 to come back, please guys, "momma always told me, Ruthie Lyn don't get fooled by the glitter." Sorry, I'll stick to Pronto.
Be cautious folks, this site I'm telling you, is in bed with Payless Power, probably making a ton of money to highlight that company (or all highlighted companies willing to bet a disabilty check this site is). On government controlled site PowerToChoose.org you see the real rating, I will leave at that.

  This is Awesome. I was very disappointed with my previous service provided and unfortunately the relationship of more than 4 years had to end. I reviewed several other companies before arriving here and was displeased at their demands for a huge activation deposit. None of them could clearly explain why those startup monies were necessary or could confirm if they were refundable minus all the fees if the relationship had to end. I would have been okay to pay it out installments but no one was hearing that. Just hand us 220.00 and well turn it on. Im glad i found you guys and very pleased there's no deposit. This is how you become and remain #1. Im telling everyone I know at the old company to follow me. (#high5) Thank you ..Now lets do business one kilo watt at a time. Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  This title suited our situation to the "T". Retired, therefore elderly, in good health still, but getting no younger, on fixed income. We were looking at about a 33-50% cut in our income, with energy bills continuing to rise. The options available to us for electricity were no options at all, the cost was too high after the first year. Were there no means of relief? Finally, we went to a website that compared all energy companies in Texas with all their differing plans. There we found a company called 4Change Energy, a company we nor our friends nor neighbors had heard of. But we checked them out,and found a plan the caused my jaw to drop; 1000 kwatts at 4.7 cents /. I called to confirm this was no typo, but legit, it was. the only catch was that I needed to remain at or below 1000 kwatts/ billing cycle or pay another 47$ for any amount over and above 1000. I was unsure if we could achieve this goal, but we signed up and did the best we could. raised the thermostat 2 or 3 degrees in the summer night, 4-5 during the day and installed a propane heater for the winter months, which is very economical. I have to give credit where credit is due, the LORD encouraged us and enabled us to see this plan work for us, we did, it did and we praise God for His wise council. We must thank god also that He showed us this company that has made it possible to maintain our reduced budget and not suffer undue hardships due to high energy costs. Thank you 4Change Energy, may The God of Heaven bless you if you will Bless Him.

  EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Paige is the person I spoke with today on my live chat and she was Awesome! The plan I renewed with was the Give Brighter Plan. The Give Brighter is a plan that includes a Luci Light for our home. This is a solar powered, inflatable, waterproof light for you to use in your home. In addition, as part of this rate, they donate one of the Luci lights on my behalf to a family in a developing country that lives without electricity. Whereas, the Live Brighter is just our regular everyday plan without any promotional items. The price per kilowatt was exactly the same (which is still cheaper than the other guys) and we're locked into this rate for another year. The Luci Light program is wonderful and it gets you a free light too! WAY TO GO DIRECT ENERGY!

  I had to delete my 2 stored payment methods as I had to cancel my service due to relocation from USA to India and I got all the help and support from Kesley to remove those, Even though I am not a direct energy customer.   I never write these but this company has been awesome and thought i take the time to give them a little praise. Really wish more companys like comcast would follow there customer service. Been with amigo a couple years. Twicevi have had issues with my power. Unfortunately the problem was me. Was working out of town, lost my card and received a call my power was off. Made a phone call expecting them to tell me had to wait to receive my card and they would cut back on. I really called just to get it scheduled asap after receiving itvin 2 days. The lady told me it was fine, told me to pay it when i received card and cut it on within a hour without any payment. All she said was next time call as soon as i can which i should have but had alot on my mind. Also i told her to payment in 48 hours. She told me she would add a extra 2 days in case i had a problem receiving. Amigo energy also send weekly usage with peak usage so you can control bill. Not many companys would have done that. I do recommend this company. Just wanted to thank you guys.

  I've had excellent customer service when moving from one apartment to another, and ever since I found these guys, I have not even begun to consider moving to anyone else. My electric bill is consistently lower than all of my friends' bills (we're all 20-something grad students in apartments). I also love that part of my money is going to help important causes (though the prices are so low that I would probably choose this company anyway).

Great promotional rates!

  I've had Summery Energy for almost 15 months now. I signed up with them summer 2013 because they had a great 12 month promotional rate. I've had no problems, there have been no hidden fees, I read the Electricity Facts Label and they have billed accordingly. I'm surprised at the reviews on here, not getting bills, not getting notified about rate change, etc. I do auto pay, get a bill every month, was notified in plenty of time when my contract would expire and what the variable rate it would increase to if I did not choose a new plan. I renewed summer 2014 for an additional 3 months because they again had the best rate for a short period and I'v received my renewal notice with plenty of time to renew with them or switch to a new provider.

Read your contract, print your documents, you shouldn't encounter any problems with these guys if you do your job.

  Been with them - what 2 or 3 years now? I dunno - time flies when your energy service is hassle free. Was formerly with sparkenergy, and when they fell out of my service area for whatever reason it was, I don't know, I was sorely anticipating that I wasn't going to do as well again. But then found Champion - whoo hoo! Automatic/recurring billing via Credit Card, set it up and forget it, competitive rates which are promised and delivered, and no weird surprises or weird billing issues (a common complaint across many service providers). I could list all the problems I am NOT having, but it would be too too long! Glad I found you.

They lowered my bill!!!!!

  Wow I had these two guys in blue shirts knock and ring my doorbell, one of them was in training and the other was a manager. They asked me for my bill and I didnt have one because I was paperless with green mountain, the trainee froze and didnt know what to do and the manager logged in to my green mountain account on his phone, I was getting 16 cents average!!!!!! What a ripp off.... it took us 5 minutes to call houston and make the switch and I got 7.3 for 2 years! They broke down my bill with a side by side comparison and they showed me a 134.85 dollar savings per month! Highly recommend
