  We switched to Champion several years ago and have never had one single problem!! Wish the rates were a bit lower!! I've referred several people and the $25 referral fee is great@@@!!

  After 30+ years and a continually rising rate of 15.4/kwh with the Major Power Company, I switched to Champion three years ago. Wow, what a difference in my monthly bill! I couldn't be any more pleased! I've had no issues at all....I have used the referral program also and must say I love those $25 credits! No horror stories here!

Do your homework, research companies in your zip. Champion has been a winner for my family!!

So far so good...3 years experience

  Never have had a problem, other than they move the due date slightly every month. I have to call then every so often to get them to move the date back where it is supposed to be. It is drafted from my account each month, so it is important to me to be a consistant date. The price has been going up slightly each renewal. I can get a lower rate elsewhere...but after reading the ratings on some companies...it is a gamble as to the customer service you end up with...no one wants their eletricity cut off for stupid reasons...So I renewed once again...may consider switching next time if I can find a company that has good ratings on customer service. Would like to see a special rate for repeat, well paying customers.

Broken promise!!

  Spoke with service rep. Told me that if rates went lower that Dynowatt would automatically lower my rate. Did not happen still paying .16 per. Kw. Keep changing due dates after stating due date would be set by me!! As we only have two pay days per month I think they are try to cause me to be late paying.Will not use them ever again!!!

Bad experience

  I found it very difficult to sign up for new service. After filling out their forms and getting an e-mail saying I was all set up I later got a phone call saying they needed me to also send them a picture ID to confirm I was who I said I was. I told them that would take some effort on my part since I would need to go somewhere to get that done & they said 'too bad'. I cancelled my order!

lied about deposit

  I should have listened to my husband about these third party companies. I signed up with trusnart online at first it said 350.00 deposit was required. Next thing I know I received a card that TruSmart would be my electric provider. I called to verify and I asked about the deposit. I was told no deposit was required so I was like great. The rates were very reasonable. I get my first bill 461 which included 350.00 deposit. I immediately contacted my previous provider Reliant Energy to switch mY services back.I would rather pay a lil more for a known provider in the area than a company that lies and hits you with all these fees. I'm done with third party companies.
