Vista keeps it fresh!

  My previous plan had a rate that was locked in for a number of months. It was coming to the end of that, so I shopped around to see what other new way that I could lock in. I went with Vista Energy Marketing because of their pricing. I enrolled online and it was quick and simple. Plus the service has been good so far. If Vista Energy keeps providing competitive rates, people who are looking after their own interest and shopping around will switch to them.

The WOW factor!

  I really like my electricity provider. I've been with Amigo Energy for all most a year now and I think they have excellent customer service, prices are great, and a great perks program. If they had a commercial I would definitely be the one on there truly bragging about my experience and the wow factor they provided to me.

  This has been, by far, the best experience we have had with a commercial electricity supplier. They make sure you know before anything odd happens and i have the same rep contact me each time. I love their customer service and their pricing is awesome.

Poor customer service

  I've been with Green Mountain for about 5 years, I called customer service about an issue, talked to 3 different reps got told 3 different answers. No one could give me a straightforward answer, customer service support is bad, other than that everything is fine. Hope I will never have to call again.

Unfortunately i have to switch...

  I say unfortunate because i really would prefer to stay with them, but in one month my rate went from .06 to .127. Dont get me wrong, i know how electricity prices work... supply and demand and all that, but when i offered to sign up for the 12 month plan they offered me in exchange for retroactively changing the rate for the one month that it went nuts they refused. I made it clear that i would switch providers unless they fixed the outrageous invoice, they refused. It is surprising to me that they would rather loose a client who had been with them for over two years and never missed a payment or was ever late with a payment rather than fixing one invoice that would have been a different price if i had called a month earlier.

If you are thinking about going with this company, just make sure you never get hit with the month to month rate... otherwise they are really good to work with and it makes me sad that i now have no choice but to go with another provider.

Beware of advertised price

  I signed up with Gexa because they advertised a price of 5.9 cents for a one year contract. I got my first full bill and the price I'm paying is 9.5 cents kwh. Now I'm stuck with this rate for one year. It would be nice if Gexa advertised the real price and not try to trick consumers with a false advertised price. Beware. I won't use them again.

Shady billing practices

  When my contract expired I was expecting an increase, I was not expecting my bill to double. When I got that bill I thought it was a mistake, nope, customer service said since Im out of contract they can charge whatever they want. So I changed service and now I get the bill for the last six days from Ambit and they want more than I was paying a month, no justification, just bill you whatever they want to punish you for switching service.

Crammed, now worried the will do it again

  Yearly contracts are a pain. I make calendar alerts to help manage them. In the end, I only use zero fee, 12 mo and stay for about 10 months.

So why is my title 'Crammed'. Last year Great American Power sold(?) my contract to Oasis. I receive letters about this transfer in May. So I changed my contract by using PaPowerSwitch.

The change finalize in June 2017... then three days later, WHAM, Oasis was suddenly my supplier. Not sure how that works. I never agreed to them being my supplier so this is cramming. I suddenly had a 1YR contract (rate was good so I stuck with them. Couldn't understand the customer service person and couldn't determine if there was a fee to leave).

So here we are today, I've now switched away from Oasis (months before contract ends). I received the 'Letter' of the new rate which is more than double my old rate. I have tried calling Oasis but their computer systems are conveniently down (and can't access any account information).

I check everyday to make sure my new supplier is still there.

doubled billed after 4 yrs of service

  I have been pleased with breeze for 4 yrs but recently when I checked my daily usage it had jump from my average price of $2.21 - $2.88 to $5.66 - $5.99 this is an outrage I do understand inflation but it shouldn't have doubled my bill instantly. When I contacted breeze energy they emailed that I was still getting the same rate per kw that it was reliant who had raised my bill not them they then went back down to $2. Something for a few days but am right back to paying 5.89 a day. I'm switching right away

Run, don't walk away from Reliant, worse company and service!

  Reliant has NO interest in keeping customers, once they have you, they gouge you. They spend your over priced electricity dollars to get new customers, with NO concept to taking care of the ones they have. Absolutely the worst company to do business with.

  I called to have service activated and they where pleasant with getting my deposit but later the service was not switched no in my name. Contacted customer service and was told because they did not send the correct information the request was sent back I said ok let get it corrected so per customer service rep it was done. Well two months now have passed and I still don't have service in my name. Called customer service and was told my request was in the BACK OFFICE wherever that is so I said just cancel my request and refund my deposit. They told me that since there was no service provided the refund would go back on my debit card within 3 to 5 days now here it is 11 day later and no refund. I called customer service again and was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks I'm upset at this point and asked for the corporate number to file a complaint and when I called the corporate office stated I wanted to file a complaint the corporate office transfer me to customer service WOW!!! Now I understand attitude reflects leadership. This has been the worst service I never had and yes I said this correctly because I never got the service connected. I would advised DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE AT ALL!!!! WARNING

Way too expensive

  I spent a weekend away from home, so I cut off all lights and the heat. Each day I was gone, my usage was more than if I had been home. $10 dollars in one day...a day that I wasn't running anything but the fridge and other plug in appliances. But it seems I am paying 30 dollars every week for this service, even when I try to watch my usage. 65 degrees seems reasonable and shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Definitely looking elsewhere. I do not believe my usage is as they report on my daily text messages.
