My switch to 4 Change Energy

  I was told by my former provider that the rates I was quoted by 4 Change were not possible and that I was being lied to. Nothing can be farther from the truth. 4 Change was the first provider willing to offer low rates to customers with low consumption. I live in a 500 sq foot bunk house and use very little energy yet the switch to 4 Change has saved me hundreds of dollars! My bill was cut in half during the summer months! Thank you 4 Change! I was more than happy to extend my contract for 2 more years.

  I switched when they first started. Our first bill was cut in half. Last year during the heat wave our highest bill was $150. Very pleased with Stream. You just have to make sure you lock in your rates when the time comes.

  No issues with this company. I got on their
variable plan when .12 was cheap and it's gone
down every month so far.

Rather unhappy

  I've called multiple times asking question about my bill, and can never get a straight answer. Nor can I get someone on the phone who is easy to understand. I've asked on a couple of occasions "I'm sorry, I'm having a difficult time understanding you through your accent. May I please speak with another representative?" and I ALWAYS get hung up on.

When I went to pay my very first bill from them, I asked if there was somewhere I could take my payment so it wouldn't get lost or stolen in the mail, and was told "Can't you just look it up online? I don't feel like giving that info out at the moment." REALLY??? THAT'S YOUR JOB!

Not the best way to keep a client - unfortunately, our land lord set us up with them, so we are going to stick with them through the duration of our lease. If we resign the lease when it runs out, I'm going to request an energy company change.

This company needs an attitude over haul. Big time.

  I have had nothing but issues with TXU. Started out by them telling me we will run a "soft credit check", and the man helping said it wouldn't show up on my credit report. It did. Then I set my service up and the next day I receive 7 missed calls from TXU saying they are changing my service date to the next day, no big deal I thought. They set my service up but I never received a bill, and I knew I signed up for paperless billing and had received emails the day they set my account up. I began to worry, so one night I just made an account online and my bill said it was due the next day. They had my email wrong. My email is my first and last name at yahoo, and they had my first and last name spelled right on the account but not on the email. So then I had to come up with the money that week, with no prior notice. Then the next month my bill is 3 times my first bill. So I call wonder what is happening and I spoke with a man "Jake" he laughed at my issue, while I was crying. The next man I spoke with was very nice and understanding, but the fact that I had that much of an issue and a grown man was laughing just was plain sad. I will never reccomend anyone to TXU and I will honestly tell them never to choose them as a electric porvider. They offer awful deals, plans, and promotions. On my last bill it said I was paying on average 14.1 cents per kilowatt!!! What?! I just got a new electric provider and I will only be paying 6.8 cents per kilowatt! How the heck can TXU do that?!

Impossible to work with!!

  ive been trying for 3 weeks to get my energy started and i was told to fax in a refernce letter from a fellow user to get my deposit dropped. Ive faxed it in twice now grom different places same number they said was correct and they have yet to "recieve" it. They hang up on me when i call to speak with supervisor and its the most frustrating company/business ive ever had work with. Im very disappointed and dissatisfied. If i ever get it to go through i probably wont use them. so far NOT so good.
