  My neighbor referred me to your company after we compared our bills. Your company is going to save me so much money each month and that is amazing. But your customer service is beyond awesome. I was in customer service for almost 35 years and I thought it just didn't exist any more. Asia was so professional and helpful and explained everything in great detail. I could not be happier to be doing business with you. PLEASE don't change a thing!

  I've been using Southwest Power & Light for several years and they are very good. I'm an electrical substation designers and their electricity is as good as anyone else.

Ambit is awesome

  Ambit is awesome. I swapped over to Ambit from another company and Ambit made it seemless where I did not have to do anything at all, they took care of it all. I had service in less than 12 hours since I rushed it.

Great prices and service

  I have been with Direct Energy since 2004 and have never had any of the problems I read here. I moved a year ago and the switch was seamless. My service was turned on the day it was supposed to be and they left service on at my old place until I was fully moved out. It was great!!! I just renewed my contract with them for less per kWh than any other company I checked, and I really did some shopping! In the time Ive have been with them, they have been a great company! You could do a lot worse.

great company

  Been with them for a couple of months and havent had any problems. They made it very easy to switch compays (had txu) as well as it being cheaper. I talked to the custermer service a couple of times and they are always nice and ready to explane everything to you.

Bounce Energy is the BEST!

  Bounce Energy is the BEST company I've ever had (and not just for electricity). Being a Bounce Energy customer makes me and my family feel like there is a good company out there that truly cares about their customers and does not consider us just another number. Their rewards program gives us every incentive to pay on-time and to remain a customer! All of their products that I've seen are truly one of a kind - their billing is vibrant and communicates extremely well to the customer base on what their bill contains and their messaging is updated on a monthly basis to keep us informed of different promotions, holidays and company changes. Additionally, their MyAccount provides easy account management and they've also provided their customers with an iphone app which is great. Their customer service is so warm and kind and they resolve all of our issuesThey keep in touch with the latest and greatest technology and keep HIGH on top of what everyone else is doing. I'll be a customer forever

  Ive had andeler for a year now they fast custoner service i like the way they worked with me when i couldnt pay my bill on they broke it down in three payments wich was very helpful to and so far its fair billing

Good Online Interface, Average Pricing

  I've been with Stream almost a year, and will change the end of this month when my contract is up. Took a six month contract when my previous provider - National Pwr - dumped us all and moved out of state. They proactively let me renew - at a lower rate - after only 4 months of the contract. The online account information contains archived bills which I believe go back to the first bill. I would love to stay with them but for two things: 1) I can get my electricity cheaper from at least a dozen other REPs, and 2) They won't let you pay by credit card (so I can't put the perks on the MasterCard).

you get ripped if you quit

  DO NOT USE STREAM ENERGY.
I changed providers because Stream was billing over 14 cents per KWH. We had sent in our previous bill but it had not shown up at Stream yet. We quit in between billing cycles but Stream immediately mailed out the final bill, which looked like it included the previous bill which had not arrived. We go another bill in the mail which was evidently not including the previous bill and was way over what we would normally pay. Our normal payment from them was about $200 a month. The final billing was about $350 for just 15 days of service. These people suck when it comes to keeping up with billing. They said it would go to a collection agency if we didn't pay this remainder even though we did make a payment during that last cycle. This company sucks.

  It might have saved us some hard-earned money and undue frustrations! We have been with Gexa for 3-4 years and haven't had too much trouble with them until recently, but honestly, we're pretty lazy about using our "power to choose" and tend to find a good rate with a decent company and just keep renewing the contract if there hasn't been any issues. Admittedly, we probably could have found a better deal and switched awhile ago, but out of convenience have continued to shovel money into Gexa's accounts. For years we have paid *ridiculous* amounts of money for a 1-bedroom apartment, but continued to pay, on time at that, without fail. This year, we moved from having an address in Houston to one in Pasadena and this is when all the troubles started! First, our bill is on a "fixed-rate" plan, but has been fluctuating by HUNDREDS of dollars each month. When we try to contact Customer Service it just frustrates us all the more! They are totally incompetent and extremely rude when trying to get them to explain WHY our bill went from the 120 range to 234 in one month when our plan is supposed to stay the same. Their explanation, which would make sense if it were true, is that the actual KWh usage fluctuates and will show different charges each month. That's perfectly understandable and legitimate, except they were claiming over 2000KWh was used, again, in a 1-BEDROOM APARTMENT! In what world did we use over 2000 KWh in a month! I would have had to have my A/C running at 60F, shining every light with a bulb, cooking with every single apparatus I own and open all the door and windows to cool the neighborhood off. I mean seriously, there's just no way. Not when our previous bill's usages averaged around 1400KWh. THEN - we received a "surprise" bill in June saying we had an IMMEDIATE balance of $365.64 due or they would shut the power off. We were completely confused because we had never missed a payment with them before and called crappy 'ol customer service again. The bill, they claimed, was one they supposedly forgot to bill us for from our last apartment, which we hadn't lived there for 10 months! We tried to get a further explanation, but the rude person on the phone kept making accusatory comments (i.e. "Well, it looks like you didn't pay your bill.." or " If the bill was paid you wouldn't be getting a notice...") and she wouldn't give us an exact date for when these charges incurred. The story kept changing and she couldn't even keep the month straight - one time it was an old bill for Sept. and the next statement she was talking about a bill in Oct. She couldn't (or wouldn't) tell us if it was one month's charge or two, only that it was for an apartment we hadn't lived in for almost a year. So in one month we paid them almost $600, but I feel that we are going to take the "oversight charge" to the PUC and dispute it. Our contract is up with them this month and we will DEFINITELY be changing providers this time. Now I'm concerned about the backlash from them for switching! They seem good, but I would not recommend. Anybody concerned about finances should probably look elsewhere...and read reviews before signing. I wish I would have.

Too expensive

  Ther service is fast and acceptable. Ive been a customer for 5 years and my rate keeps going up a ridiculous amount. Started out at 11.c per kwh & its now 15.5c per kwh. Deff time to switch. Wouldn't recommend this company.

A shady company that tries to scam customers

  I called this company to ask about their rates. They agreed to call me back the Tuesday following the day of my call. Well, that call never arrived and this company had signed me up for a 24 month contract without any authorization or any of my personal information. They actually went as far as to put my account on a random email because they did not have my email address. I have been disputing this change for 2 weeks now and I do not recommend that anyone even so much as call this company.

Horrible Customer Service

  My contract with them expires in August. I switched providers and when I got my last bill there was a cancellation fee of 150. I called and they said I had renewed the contract which I didn't online and that they would not wave the cancellation fee since they had no proof it was an error. Payed all my bills with them had good relationship but in the end they wouldn't help. Not everyone has extra money for bogus fees.

AVOID THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY

  I got conned into selling Ambit service and was stuck in a contract. I got no notice of my contract expiring and my rate jacked up. I didn't have time to change to a new company and stayed with them another 3 months. I got a disconnect notice for 9/20 for $97. I paid it on 9/19. On 9/23 my power was cut off. I called to ask why and was told that I only had until the 17th to pay it. So 6 days later they cut my power off and now want me to pay a disconnect and reconnect fee. This is a total scam. I have never had a utility company cut off power after they received payment even when it was pending disconnections before.
This is a pyramid scheme. You will not save money in the long run nor will you make money.
I feel like sucker for getting involved

Liars and Cheats

  They sent me a letter saying they were changing the terms of service. They were adding processing fees to pay your bill. The letter said if this is not acceptable you may terminate the contract with no early termination fee if done within 14 Days. I called to verify the letter and informed them I would be terminating the contract. I changed to a different company in less than 14 days but still got a bill for a $200 early termination fee.

Frustrated!

  Everything was going along fine until I was a victim of credit card fraud. I had to get a new credit card and I took the time to notify all those that were on auto pay. My next bill came on my credit card just fine. But the following bill I got a cut-off notice. When I called to find out they are trying to say that my new Credit Card number was used for a one time only payment and not put me on auto-pay again. So now I have the choice to pay online monthly and have to pay $2.50 each month, or pay $700 for two bills to get back on auto-pay. I offered to make my monthly payment plus $50 to widdle away at the second month bill, I can do that but I won't be on auto-pay until it is a zero balance. Plus I will have to pay the $2.50 monthly fee. All this because I was the victim of credit card theft. You would think they could look at your previous history and make some exceptions for this. Speaking to a manager did not change a thing! Counting my days to cancel this service!

  We had just energy for our business the kilowatts wasn't right as they said .we been their customer for 3 months and paid every month 200 even though the business was closed most of the time.this is a rip off company ..I'm very disappointed.
