Great Service

  I have been a customer for 2 years now and they have been great. Their free electricty is great they give me a $125.00 to $150.00 credit every month. What a great deal it is. The free trip rewards are great my wife and i are going on a cruise soon paid for by Ambit just for being a customer. The free web site is nice they even give me tips on how to save energy.

Reliable and Flexible Customer Service

  Consider that usually consumers that write on these forums are ones with complaints. It has been my 3rd year with them and they have always provided great customer service and product delivery. The are very flexible on making payment arrangements. The key is that you do need to forecast and communicate you needs to not onll them but anyone you are doing business with. Sometime the problem is with the one doing the communicating and not the person.

Competitive Prices, Great Service

  I have been been with Proton Energy for roughly 5 months. I have been very pleased with the service. I had some trouble getting a bills, but that was not fault to Proton Energy. They seem to be a smaller company, so sometimes it is hard to reach them, I found the best number is the 817 # listed on the site. My electricity was disconnected for non payment, again no fault to Proton, I paid my bill over the phone was told my service would be on in an hour, and it was on in 15 minutes. My amount billed is consistent and much cheaper than the big named company. Overall, I am very pleased with Proton. I would and have recommended them to others.

Excellent Rewards Program!

  We've been with Bounce Energy for the past 2+ years and through their referral programs and cash-back rewards plan have accumulated over $600 of credits to our account. This is a significant amount of savings for us, since our typical bill is around $100 (single family ~2000 sqft home) this has covered 6 monthly payments! It's always nice to have the bill come in with ZERO dollars owed :)

4 Change Energy Really saves us money!

  We have been with 4 change energy for a number of years now and they give us much better rates then our other plans we have had. They are always courteous when we call to renew our plan and give us the best deal possible. When we first switched over to them we were surprised by how low our bills were in the summer when we ran the AC all the time. It is such a nice surprise to still be surprised by how low a bill is even after all these years. This year the rates went up a little bit because of inflation, but are still so low that are bills are lower than they were when we were with the other companies. All in all I am very pleased.

Good prices, Great Promotions

  I have no complaints with Bounce Energy. We are signed up for Auto-pay so we never miss a payment. The rates are reasonable and they offer a variety of promotional programs that can get you cash back or bill credits. We are on the cash back program and have had several $50 referral credits.

No issues, company seems solid

  I've read a lot of the reviews on here and I am shocked. I have not experienced any issues what so ever. We've had Ambit for just over a year now and I'm truly loving the service. Are they perfect, no. But neither is any other company. As long as you pay your bills on time and pay attention to your renewal dates, all will be well.

  Introductory rates are good and I haven't had any unexpected charges on my bills so far (been with bounce for 4 months) The rate for the month-to-month plan has increased as the summer goes on, but I expect it to drop this winter and I'll lock the rate for a longer term (hopefully). I received my $50 credit on my 3rd bill for the sign-up referral as promised.

No Problems, good rates

  I switched to using them and have been with them almost 2 years. I have been happy with them, rates are up front and I have had no issues with extra hidden fees. This is the 3rd electric company I have used in the past 6 years, and they all have been fine, it comes down to the money and terms. From the time I sent many inquiries about signing up with them before doing so, throughout my time with them, customer service has always been helpful and friendly. My renewal is up next month, so as before I shop around at each renewal period for best rates. If the price is right I would stay with them.

Used to love...not anymore

  I have been with StarTex since July 2009. Every year, I have renewed with the 12 month contract, and I have been very happy. No issues with billing, and when I have had to contact them (I believe only twice over almost 4 years), no issues. They have resolved things to my satisfaction each and everytime. This year, I go to renew...wham, 9.99 fee unless you use 1,000 KwH. Well, my family only does that about 3 times a year. I was ok with the 4.99 fee for 500 kw, as we usually do that. I had seen some people talk about calling their CS and that they could offer the 4.99. Not true...just got off the phone with them, and they said I could only do the 9.99 fee. So, I guess I go with another company now. I am not willing to pay 9.99 a month because I don't leave my lights on and run the AC 24/7. Ridiculous...

  My 3 experiences with YEP customer service over 3 years were all negative, never any relief from an apparent overcharge or suggestion of another approach to resolve a problem.

Better 100% wind companies, keep shopping

  I really wanted to like this company because of its dedication to the environment! However, I cannot say I do. First, billing is great. They give weekly updates of usage. Account management, not so much. They are trying to modernize their company to help with this but, at the moment customers who wish for phone or email to be primary contact are out of luck.
Customer service is very polite. They help with whatever you need. However,15.6kW/hr negates this, at least for a graduate student.
I cancelled my service because my energy bill was $200 dollars for my 919sqft apartment. Also, I changed the credit card information on our automatic debit and they still used the old information. This led to a late payment and lights being cut off. They did respond very quickly to the mistake but offered me a rate of 12.9kW/hr to make up for it. I went with another 100% wind company for 6.7kW/hr AND their first line of contact is phone and email, not traditional mail (more modernized form of communication is just my preference). So, in summary, the customer service is nice albeit indifferent. I would rather have a company that is less expensive and is so efficient that customer service is almost not needed.

  Service is reliable and billing is accurate, but the rate per KWH is very high. Shop around before making a decision. I selected what was presented as my option at time of my home purchase.

STAT AWAY!!

  My account was late and I never received a disconnection notice. I sent a check but they said they never received it. I can't cancel it because I am under contract and it's $25 a month to cancel the contract. The prices are okay...they are a little higher with TDU charges and trying to get more money out of you. I had a better experience with Green Mountain Energy and will be returning to them as soo as I can!
