FAKE CHARGES

  I am a customer on the prepaid plan. Perfect if you are NEVER home and take the time to unplug EVERYTHING EVERYDAY...AND STILL BE CHARGED $10 A DAY...SOMEHOW THOUGH I USE $1.35 A DAY TO 2.63...MY CHARGES HAVE BEEN S6, 7, 10 A DAY. I REPORTED IT. THEY STOPPED FOR JUST A FEW DAYS AND THEN SNUCK IT BACK IN!!! I WAS SUPPOSEDLY USING 2X DURING DAYS NOT HERE WITH EVERYTHING OFF AND UNPLUGGED THAN I USE ON FREE WEEKENDS WHEN I AM ACTUALLY HERE USING ELECTRIC. WITH TXU I HAD ABOUT 5X MORE USEAGE AND MY BILL WAS ALWAYS LOW...I NEVER UNPLUGGED ANYTHING...I DIDN'T TRY TO BE CAREFUL BUT SOMEHOW MY BILL RATE HAS GONE FROM WHAT WOULD BE $100 A MONTH WORST CASE TO A PACE OF $300 FOR A TINY HOME WHERE 90% OF THE TIME EVERYTHING IS UNPLUGGED...VERY UNETHICAL TO SNEAK CHARGES IN...AND IT CAUSES SO MUCH MORE STRESS IN MY LIFE THAN I HAVE EVERRR HAD OVER ELECTRIC...IF THEY WERE HONEST ABOUT USEAGE IT'D BE THE MOST AWESOME SERVICE EVER...BUT SO FAR THEY'RE LYING THIEVES...GETTING PIST...AND WILL BE REPORTING IT...

Late fees

  After 6 years I finally noticed the late fees being charged (my mistake) and I was being charged late fees for electronic transfers from my bank to TXU. After spending a lot of time on the phone with customer service I was told I must pay using one of their methods. I pay 6 companies using electronic transfers and TXU is the only one that has a problem with this method--just in the last 11 months I found out they had charged me $127.00 late fees. In all fairness $47 was valid. I will be changing to another company ASAP.

  If these people show up at your door, call the police. They will steal from you. I canceled the bogus scam 'contract' within 30 minutes of the rep leaving. He had spoken to my husband without my knowledge. Thirty minutes after he left, I called Entrust and canceled. They assured me they had deleted our information. Two days later, our current electricity provider called us and asked us why we were switching. They called again, two days after that. So Entrust Energy apparently called our provider (TXU) to attempt to switch our service without our knowledge and consent.

It didn't end there. A week later, we received Entrust Energy's astonishingly bogus 'welcome package.' On the letter, they back-dated the 'start of service date' to a date that was a week BEFORE we ever met the rep. That's fraud, and it's a felony: theft by fraud.
If we ever see these people again, we will call the cops.

Now I am wondering what the rep got a look at while he was in our home. They are such brazen thieves that residential burglary is more likely than not one of their business methods. If you are an Entrust Energy rep reading this, do not reply to this complaint, and do not attempt to contact us in any way, shape or form. NO CONTACT. Got it?

Unhappy customrer

  rate them right along with AT&T, & that's as bad as it gets...... customer friendly lacking, their telephone
robotic response is a service from hell, typical of all companies who care very little about customer service. Their cost is outrageous. There is no customer loyalty on pricing unless you agree to their gimmicks & lock in on some stupid contract, totally disregarding the fact of being a loyal customer for YEARS!!!!!!!........hate that!!!

CHARGE FOR CREDIT CHECK

  I almost signed up but changed my mind when I reviewed the "CREDIT CHECK" - NON-REFUNDABLE FEE of $65 or $85. This will put make their charges higher than the next competitors.

Worst Customer Service Ever

  All I wanted to know was how to keep service on at my deceased parents' house & make a payment. The service rep was so rude. Accused me of using profane language, which I don't do. Then kept talking over me . So instead of finding out how much I have to pay to keep the service I was yelled at. Poorest customer service I have ever had. Would not connect me to a supervisor or another rep. So the poor will be cut off. They receive lost satisfaction rating ever. After reading other remarks and my experience, I have to agree with the others also.
