Bill pay problem

  I am in Texas. I mailed my payment to them on the 6th along with 2 other bills from the same mailbox. The other 2 bills posted to my account on the 12th. I got a disconnect notice from infinite energy on the 18th. Customer service explained to me that billing was done in Texas and reported to them. He was not allowed to tell me if it was a contract service but he did tell me that they have had many other complaints. I set up auto pay so we will see how that goes.

WORST COMPANY EVER

  I started service with this shade tree company, and I made payment arrangements on my bill and paid $100 THAT DAY and a few days later they STILL disconnected my service. I spoke with the customer service rep and she stated that SOMEHOW they disconnected my lights in error and they made me wait 2-4 HOURS for reconnect service that THEY messed up on please save yourself the hassle and do not go to this unprofessional shade tree light company... Im switching asap.

Leaving After 17 Years

  If I could I would give TXU zeros across the board. We have been customers for 17 years and never had a bill much over $200. In November a "smart" meter was installed. The first month we did notice anything. In December the bill was a little over $400, we were shocked, but didn't say anything we just lower the thermostat a little and were careful using electricity. In January the bill was $979! TXU and Oncor says that it is our fault. My husband has spent hours on the phone with TXU and Oncor trying to work with them. He has been professional and patient. TXU and Oncor have been arrogent, unprofessional and down right nasty. We preformed an energy audit and had a heating/ac guy out to check the heat pump. Nothing was found we did the audit. The heating/ac guy said our unit was getting old, but preforming well and didn't need to be replaced. Oncor "claims" they checked the "smart" meter and say there's nothing wrong with it. My husband finally paid bill, but put a note in saying that TXU was unfair and he was paying under protest. When TXU recieved the bill they called him and told that they would not cash the check and were turning us over to a collection agent and charging us late fees until a new check was sent. How arrogent and unprofessional can one be? Needless to say we are changing companies. Sadly, we still have to deal with Oncor.

Do not switch to Everything Energy

  Everything Energys accounts department is totally dysfunctional. My payments are made by check through a service provided by my bank. The Everything Energy accounts dept. seem to be unable to credit my account with the payments. We received a disconnect notice and called their customer service center and explained that the payments were made and we have a copy of the cleared check stamped by their bank, BNY Mellon with the date. The cancelled was forwarded to them and after numerous calls the payment was mysteriously located. This exact scenario occurred again the following month. It has taken considerable time and effort to resolve this.

with a complaint regarding the problems with Everything Energy.
I would discourage anyone from considering Everything Energy as their electric service provider
