  I had been another company for 1.5 years but their prices just kept rising every time I renovated the contract.
The reward programs with Bounce Energy are pretty cool and there is always an incentive to have the customers happy and saving money!

  This is the best company I have ever used. I have had them for over a year and have never had a problem. Their price is by far better that any other company that I have ever had. I do not understand the negative comments.

Waste of time

  I was excited to get the Thrifty Saver Promotional! Shortly after ordering and before move-in, my apartment decided to switch rooms due to renovations. I called Bounce Energy to change the apartment number and was on the phone for my entire 75minute lunch break which got me three "transferred" (I was dropped each time) calls. Frustrated, I called back the next day to be dropped again and placed on two ten minute holds...only to find out that if I wanted to change my apartment number I'd have to order a new service because the one I'd signed up for was no longer available at the same price. Fed up; I ended up cancelling all services. The women I spoke to were all very nice; however, seemed very confused with every question I posed - could've told me the issue in less than ten minutes.

Did not honor promise and waste customer time for $13

  I bought a new place and scheduled people to renovate right away. I paid Reliant an expedited fee to have service turned on same day after another company's guy did not show up or return calls asking where he was. Rep tells me for sure to expect electricity by end of the day. Nothing day one. Called them on day 2. They called main electric service and told me everything is good to go and that it was on my end. My contractor checked everything and no go. Said if they send someone out I will be charged if it was from my doing. So decided to wait to the afternoon to see if lights would come on....Day 3, still nothing. My guys checked all systems again and no issues. So, I called again and complained and demanded refund of extra fee to have same day service. The rep appologize for what occurred and promised me that I will get my refund but have to wait until a bill is established even though an extra charge was seen. When bill came they would not take it off bc main company will not refund them citing they found nothing wrong on their end. They waisted so much of my time and refused do the right thing, return $13 that they in no way earned. Only $13!!! Instead they pay reps and managers to hear me complain and post the truth of my ordeal on line. My contractors lost 3 days of work and I must of spent at least 2 hours on the phone with them. It's obviously I can't do much with $13, but I felt I was not taken cared of from the get go. They reminded me that I will be charged $200 if I break the 1 yr contract. That, I can afford.

  If I could give every rating a 0, I really would. Someone representing Spark Energy came to my door to talk my dad into switching over to their service. He promised my father they'd discount his monthly bill for signing up with them and that it's guaranteed it'll be cheaper than the cost of his previous utilities service. We were infuriated to see our first bill of the month... Not only was it much more expensive monthly, but we were charged $100 for a cancellation fee on top of the bill due for that month? Are you serious? Customer service also sucks. The call representatives sound so smug and miserable, and I've been placed on hold for at least 20 minutes on end for each time I've made a call to them. REALLY do not recommend!! Sign up with The Gas Company or something else!

Worst experience, even worse service!!!!

  I moved into my apartment in May 2013. I've not had to set up services, or deal with an apartment since 1990s. The apartment screwed up, forcing us to move into a different apartment. They agreed to an arrangement in which, they moved us into a different apt on the agreed move in date. Because I had ordered the electricity service before they told me about their screw up, they said to just pay the electricity while the renovations were done to the apt and we could move in after. No change would be needed. We decided to stay in the apartment they "bait and switched" us into, so I called bounce to have them change the service. They told me I would no longer be eligible for the mommy rewards program, they'd have to end service and start a new service contract, then they told me the rates would go from $0.09 to $0.14/kwh!!!! Knowing I could find a better deal (and less wait time holding to speak to a rep) I told them not to do anything. I called around and about two weeks later, called bounce back to inquire about a bill for the same month of service I had just paid on. They said it was to terminate services (since I didn't call them back inside of ten days) and that the charges were for the period of service (again, I had just paid on). The rep NEVER said they'd terminate services if they didn't hear back, not within any given timeframe. I had told her to keep the services on until I called back. When I finally had the third rep explain to me they had screwed up their billing cycles (sending me two bills instead of one) she said she couldn't change the services to the original rate and they wouldn't budge. These people are only here for your money. They really don't care about you or working with you to get a third party's screw up corrected.
