Really good rates and service

  Have never had any issues. Been with them for 3 years. Just wish when renewal time comes up that they would reward current customer with lowest rate instead of increasing rate and giving new customers the lowest rate.

Excellent Service!!! No Billing Problems!!!

  I have been a customer of Pennywise Power for 1 year (Feb. 2012 - Feb. 2013) I have had NO Problems. With service or Billing! paying 7.9 cents per KwH. FYI - They are a sister company to Reliant so they have a large operation to help keep things running properly.

Poor Customer Service and Billing

  My personal home and businesses used Champion
Energy for over a year. I moved to a new home
that did not allow me to choose my energy
provider. When I moved I paid my final bill. 6
months later I get a call from a collections
agency saying that I owe Champion. I have never
received an email, phone call or a letter
stating that I had a balance that I needed to
pay although the customer service rep said they
tried to contact me. Tried to resolve it with
the customer service rep but "it was out of her
hands". Well I guess my other businesses will
be out of their hands as I will cancel my
service. Was told I would get a phone call to
see if someone could help me but guess they are
too busy to get back to me.

Unethical company

  I have been with Cirro for many years. I just got my bill and they raised my rate by 36%!!!! They claim they notified me they were going to do this, but I never saw anything. They refused to correct the bill. I asked to speak to the CEO and they said they didn't know who he was!

Unhappy Previous Customer

  Moved into Dallas/Ft Worth area recently from area in state that had only one service provider and wasnt aware there were many electric service options. Built a home and transferred service from builder into our name. When I realized I had an option to choose other service providers, I picked one with much more favorable rates and cancelled our TXU service. I received a call the next day from TXU advising they were charging me a substantial cancellation penalty. I tried to appeal the charge and got an individual in the presidents office who was quick to pull out their recordings of me agreeing to their plan with uncompetive rates. The rate I am paying now is substantially less than TXU was charging. Unless they change their rate structure in the future I will never do business with them again and certainly will not recommend them to anyone else.

  DO NOT use this company!!! They have figured out a way to get my bill up to an amount that almost nobody could afford and I can't switch companies until it's completely paid off! They trap you and take full advantage of you!!
