Wonderful Energy Provider

  Our residential electricity contract is expiring August 8th 2018 and I have been shopping for rates and a good Company. A neighbor recommended Our Energy and I phoned them. Marisol was the Customer Service Representative who assisted my inquiry. She is EXCELLENT..... efficient knowledgeable, professional and treated me like family. She found an offer that was exactly what I was searching for almost immediately with the best rate offered from the 8 companies I called. I will recommend Marisol and Our Energy to EVERYONE of my relatives and friends. Try them..... they really are the BEST!!!

Seldom nowadays I have the well justified opportunity to announce a service companys exceptional ethical, HONEST, transparent , responsive AND responsible no hidden nothing, business operations practices.

Startex is the premiere utility company and should be the standard to which all other not only peer but TV, TE, banks, credit cards and all service companies should shoot for.

EXCELLENCE AND AT A GOOD PRICE TOO! LIKE IT SHOULD BE.

I highly recommend them, because their quality service will not only serve you well but your quality of life will be that much better not having to deal with all the lousy service companies out there nowadays.

I have been Tara's customer since 2003 and never had to call the customer service.

  I've been with several REPs over the last ten years and came over to Summer Energy in July, 2012 after a truly horrid experience with Proton Energy. Things I like about Summer Energy (besides being nothing like Proton Energy) - 1) no fee for credit card payments; 2) no deposit for those with good credit; 3) paper bill every month, on time; 4) no hidden fees or excessive number of fees tacked on; 5) really good 12 mo. rate of 8.6 cents/kwh. My usage is always over 1000 kwh, so the fee for going under that does not apply to me. I saw from a review prior to mine a complaint about customer service, however, I have experienced nothing but quality customer service, although most of my contacts were back in August, 2012. Everythings been fine to now - Jan, 2013. Also, I found their website simple and easy to use. I dont auto pay so that's not an issue for me like it was for a previous reviewer. No complaints and will stay with them if they continue with good rates and good service - So far, So good.

Pleased with the experience

  Have good website, billing, and email communication... and saved a lot of money compared to my previous provider. Never had any issues. Don't know what it's like to call them, because I've never had a need to do so. I'm going to try another provider for a lower rate now that my contract is up, but I'll return if my experience doesn't match up to Spark.

  Been with StarTex for 2 years and have been very satisfied. Billing is clear and I especially like that if I've forgotten to pay my bill by a certain date, StarTex will send me an email reminder a few days before the bill is due. However, the rates have gone up more than what I would have liked and I'm unfortunately forced to switch now. No other reason but the rate.

Great customer service experience

  I had a problem with my bill and had to call Direct Energy the other day. The rep was extremely helpful and resolved the issue without any push back. A pleasant experience for an industry that is definitely not known for their customer service.

  Only with company few months. I'm pleased with service so far.
Had a very deceptive, pricey, poor- customer -service company (Go Griddy) before changing to Champion.

  I accepted their offer for 6 months at 7.9 per kWh. The transition was smooth, their website is functional. No problems so far. Auto bill payment is not yet established, so I have to pay manually each month.

Reliable, Satisfactory Provider

  I've been with Gexa for two years with no problems. At renewal I shopped rates and found lower rates. I read the reviews on providers offering lower rates and saw lots of dissatisfied customers and problems with billings, etc. I spoke to a Gexa rep and explained that I would like to stay but would like to see better rate. I was offered a discounted loyal customer rate which brought them close to the competitive lower rates. When I compared annual costs between Gexa and the lower rate offers, I would end up paying $65 more annually to stay with Gexa. Because their service has been satisfactory and reliable, I decided that was worth paying a bit more.
