Trouble Free with Brilliant

  I have been with Brilliant for the past two years and recently left this October after my 2 year contract expired. During that two year contract Brilliant serviced my account flawlessly. I paid my Brilliant Electric bill via online banking bill pay with my bank. A couple of times my check arrived late and I called for customer service. Both times I was treated with respect and the customer service representative took care of me. I would still be with Brilliant, but after my two year contract expired I found another provider that was a few cents cheaper per Kwh, so I moved. Brilliant Electric is a great company to do business with. No regrets!

Have really enjoyed saving money

  This company has made it easy to get electric, have had wonderful customer service experience's and have never in my life paid such a low electric bill!! There are also a lot of rewards, and xtra's you can get just by being a Xoom customer that have also either saved me money or have earned me cash rewards. I get to use 50% solar, and have the lowest fixed rate plan in this entire area. No surprises here, just one happy customer.

Terrible Billing Department and Terrible Customer Service

  During my first month and a half, True Electric has billed me two times in error. The first error came 5 days after I signed up with True. True debitied my account $183 and they had not even read my meter yet. Then a couple of weeks later the debited my account $87. This second error happened after I recieved my paper bill in the mail from True Electric that said I would be billed $34 and some change. I contacted True after the first error and they said they would look into it and call me back. Never heard anything from them. I called them after the second error and they said they would look into it. There is a guy named James that keeps answering the phone and he will not let you get past him to a supervisor. My experience with True Electric has been horrible and I would not in good faith recommend this electric utility provider to anyone. In fact, I am going to report them to the Public Utility Commission today for their fraudulent billiing practices. Stay away from True Electric. There are way too many electrical providers out there than to risk doing business with this terrible company.

  I signed up for electricity with Star Tex Power for the price of 4.7 cents per kwh for every monthly usage over 1000 kwh. If I go over 2000 kwh then its 5.4 cents. EVERY MONTH without exception they have OVER CHARGED me. I have addressed this matter and sought a resoluion EVERY MONTH. Even the mangers can't /won't fix it. Their response to me is that the rate is based off of the usage. Are they deaf ??/ My usage is in line with the price. I AM SICK OF THEIR EXCUSES, and refusal to honor the terms of the agreement. This company is corrupt, under handed, and deceitful. I will NEVER again use them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!

  I live in a 1000 sf home in Hopkins County, TX. My current Just Energy bill is $599.01 for 1/11/2018-2/09/2018 showing 1701 kwh usage. Prior bill was $460 for 2240 kwh usage. The amount per kwh contract shows I am being charged never equates to the dollar amount shown on bills I have received since starting with Just Energy. Just Energy is not a reputable company.

  Worst energy company ever I am so irrate right now. Y'all will never see another penny from me and my family ever again. Y'all seriously think I am going to believe that we used 124$ Of electeicity in one WEEEEKKKK?!? There is no way!!! Our bill was suppose to be lowered. Not trippled and it has tripled every since we switched to y'all. Therefore y'all are a scam. Cheapskates. Pieces of shits. I am suing yalls sorry asses!!!!! And I'm going to bug the shit out of y'all every single day and I refuse to let y'all rip us off anymore. I am telling everyone I know I have already had all of our family that is with u cancel. Y'all are going to be out of business soon. I will see to it!!! Y'all are a fucking joke and nothing more!!!!! Sorry asses!!!!!

Never ever use reliant worse company ever

  We used to have just energy and our electric bill avg all year around was for a 1,900 sq house was
About 150-175 and than one weekend we had someone come up to our door it was a reliant sales rep
She had this brochures showing us how we could save so much money and with the oncor weekend was
Free well now for the last four month our electric bill has not only doubled but almost tripled it is the worse company ever I will never use them again plz do not make the same mistake as I did you will spend between 300-400 a month for electricity you never use

Poor Service and Failure to followup and crediting my account

  They lost my payment back in October and they threaten to cutoff my electricity. To avoid this I may a payment on my credit card. After several phone calls over a month, they found the payment and stated they posted it to my account. However they had charged me with late fees and disconnect fees. after again complaining, they call and stated I was right and they would credit my account for the additional fees and credit my account plus an additional $25 dollars. The means I am to receive a refund which they agreed. Guess what no refund and when I just wen out and checked my account, I was not credited my double payment. Now they claim I owe them. What a company. I will be writing a letter to the PUC to resolve this issue.
