Horrible billing and collections service

(1 / 5)

I am now on month 6 of billing. When I setup the account I gave them a credit card to run each month. They told me the card was a problem, so I gave them 2 more. It is weird they can't seem to run a card correctly, and I keep getting late fees, etc. This last time I gave them my Amex card which alerts me to charges. My bill says, DO NOT PAY, Auto Debit will be processed on 9/5. Of course it wasn't and I verified with Amex that they haven't even tried. What a poor excuse for a business. Every time I call they have the excuse their "system is being upgraded" please call back.

Terrible customer Service

(1 / 5)

This company is cheap but not cheap enough to deal with the total lack of customer service. After signing up for this service, I waited and waited for our email bill. I called them three times to check that all our information was correct and was reassured that everything was correct and that I should just be patient and wait for the email. Then out of the blue our electricity was disconnected with no warning. I had received no bills at all. This was at 7am. their office did not open until 8am to complain. It took my husband and I close to an hour on two separates phones to get anyone to answer our phone call. They had the wrong email address despite insisting three times and treating me like I was an irate customer that they had it correct. Then they informed me that I had a disconnect charge of $25 and that it could take up to 24 hours to reconnect the electricity. I had to call the public utility commission and complain. It took about 6 hours to switch back on and with a lot of arguing they refunded the charges. I have lost all confidence in this company and we are waiting the 6 months until the contract is up and changing to a better company even if it costs more. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They should have sent a disconnect notice by mail, even if they charged for it, or made a phone call. In some circumstances this could have been dangerous. As it was my husband could not get the car out of the garage to go to work and we were left on what was probably the coldest day of the year with two small children and no heating hoping that our pipes would not freeze.
