2nd year customer

  This is our 2nd year using Champion Energy. Our apartment is roughly 1000sqft (3bed/2bath) and we run the ac constant. We keep it around 75 degrees and our bill ranges from 90-110(ish) in the hot months. In the cold months it def starts to drop bc we rarely need the heat on and we like to keep the windows open. So Id say maybe 60ish max in the winter.

Ive never had an issue with the company. Ive never had to contact customer service as pretty much everything can be answered/accomplished on their website. But 5 stars for website functionality. Always able to use bill pay w/ no issues.

Overall, Id recommend this company

Excellent company

  I have been a customer for over a year now. No problems whatsoever. My bill has never gotten over 200.00 even in the hottest Texas heat. Have called the call center on several occasions and have always been treated courteously. Will renew when contract expires.

  Every 6 months for the past 5 years I have searched for the best rate on electricity until I happened upon 4Change Energy a few months ago. Best rates, switching was easy, bills are easy to understand, and best of all the price is unbeatable!

  EARNED $50 OFF MY FIRST BILL!! Who doesn't want to earn rewards while they are using electricity?!?!?! You have to pay an electric bill regardless! I switched from TXU and am SO HAPPY with Bounce Energy!

confused

  This gets crazy. My electric balance goes up and down and the days for termination are confusing Yesterday It was good until 1 -9-2014. Today the 6th. It has done that before . I called and was told that it changes and was not an accurate record. What the ... do they even do it for then? I was snakebit when I changed . I had Smart and that was not smart. They are dilatory in all and they owe me 177.00 . I want my money and They came with some kind of... . That is why I complained to the Public Utilities Communion and the Attorney Generals office on fraud. I just want to understand what is going on with MY money.And I do not. How can it be the 9th and then the 6th when I did not have anything on?

Better price for electricity

  I love this power company! I was forced to use a Co-op when I lived in the rural area, and when I move to the city I discovered how cheap electricity can be...comparatively speaking. I have a personal representative who lets me know when my contract is going to expire so I can re-up at the best going rate. Stream and my Ignite rep are the best way I have found to get my retail electricity service.

Solar energy buy back

  Good experiences for 4 years. A friend who is a professional in energy management and conservation for businesses recommended them. He had dealt with several services providers and thought they had the best combo of price and service.

One regret: Wish they offered some type of buy back for excess solar energy

Just SOLD

  Great experience and rates with this Texas bases company and was looking forward to renewing with them nest month, BUT they were just sold to Cirro....which is owned by giant Dominion Resources....based in Virginia, not Texas. Already see that the rates are going to be higher and I'm not impressed with customer reviews. Also, I'm not inclined to reward Cirro with my business since most of the Kinetic employees lost their jobs due in this takeover.

  1st bill was around 150 which is reasonable but the 2nd bill jumped 100 dollars??? I thought I found a descent electricity provider

Good company watch your bill though

  Just keep an eye on their rates and the rates from power to choose because they don't match up and they'll try to tell you that it takes a couple days to update just call them and tell them that they're wrong
