They say they love your animal, it's a gimmick

This company is directly responsible for my having to put my 15-year-old cat down. They claim that they are pet lovers, and the basis of their marketing is that they provide an emergency fund for you to use if your pet is in distress. This is a lie! What they make you go through in order to try to access this money is inhumane and inconceivable. If you find yourself in a time-sensitive emergency and the life of your pet is hanging in the balance, just know all they care about is checking in an appropriate box they do not care about you or your animal. They will not even talk to you about the fund until you have spent a ridiculous amount of time with them on the phone taking videos answering questions, all the while your pets is in pain scared and in need of assistance. And if this is something that happens after normal office hours, don't even try to get in touch with them. If you are stuck between a rock and a hard place and you are in between paychecks and have no way to take your to the vet, they absolutely do not care, even if it is an emergency. Unless you take the obscene amount of time to jump through their inhumane and cruel hoops, they won't even discuss fund assistance. They won't allow you to go to the vet and accept proof that you had an emergency situation after the fact. There are no words to express my anger towards this organization and the unconcerned unfeeling staff. If I was not disabled and I had any recourse I would spend the rest of my days doing everything in my power to cause as much pain and discomfort and annoyance to every single person that has the audacity to spew the lies that they do in the name of Animal Welfare. Do not fall for their lies they do not care about your animal they'll dangle an emergency fund in front of you and you will never be able to use it when you need it. And what they will tell you to do in administrative awareness is beyond cruel. If you want to know about their electricity, it's expensive and their billing practices and policies are not transparent.
