Pulse Power was acquired by Shell energy after the 2021 winter storm crisis. It's still operating at a reduced level in the Texas market w/ limited plans.

Pulse was a great company with aggressive rates and all the typical perks that you'd expect from a new market entrant. However, that changed when Uri hit Texas in 2021. Shell Energy took Pulse over and they've remained active but have not been an active acquirer of customers.

Pulse Power looks like a zombie electricity company at this time. Is it dead? maybe. Is it alive? maybe. Is anybody in there?

Pulse Power has received mixed customer reviews. Positive feedback highlights competitive rates, user-friendly online account management, and helpful features like weekly consumption emails. For instance, a customer from Crowley, TX, reported two years of service without issues, appreciating the peace of mind provided. Another from Houston, TX, noted their electricity bill decreased by half after switching to Pulse Power.
