Yes. Base Core has a generator port built in. It works with any 240V portable generator that has a NEMA L14-30R twist-lock outlet and at least 4,000 watts of running output. Gasoline, propane and natural gas all work. We can collect the generator information and confirm compatibility with Base before installation.

Yes. The Base app shows whether the grid is up, how much power your home is using right now, and how many hours of backup you have left.

The battery stays with the home. Give Base 90 days' notice and the new homeowner can take over the rest of the agreement at no charge. If they do not want it, Base removes the system and a $500 de-installation fee applies. If you want a battery at your new home, you go through the install process again there.

Your 7.7 cent energy rate is fixed for a 36-month electricity agreement. When that ends, your Base agreement guarantees a renewal rate below the market average, so you are not renewing at whatever the market happens to be that month. The $19 monthly fee is fixed for the full 12-year battery agreement.

In power-to-choose areas (e.g., Oncor and CenterPoint territory), yes. Base becomes your energy provider, and Base covers up to $250 of any cancellation fee your current provider charges.
