Clearview Energy is a retail electricity provider founded in 2006, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company offers renewable energy plans to residential and commercial customers across multiple deregulated markets including Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New England states. The company has maintained private ownership since its inception. In 2018, Clearview launched a 100% renewable energy program and has since focused on green energy solutions for customers.

Clearview can be hit and miss - like many smaller Texas elecrticity companies, Clearview picks thee best time to market rates in Texas, based on the market econmics. In other words. Generally, Summer in Texas is a bad time for an energy company to acquire new customers, lots of risk, hurricanes, heat, etc.

Clearview ticks most of the boxes - except you pay a premium for Green energy. If you like paying a premium and subsidizing the fight against climate change, then Cleaqrview should be considered.
