How We Rate

TriEagle is a Vistra (The TXU guys) Brand. So like Express Energy, 4change, you get big company benefits at a slight discount from the TXU premium. They tend to have simple fixed rate products and they are always worth a look.

Trieagle is really good at simple flat rate products. No surprise bills, flat rates, really all the good things you want from your electricity provider. And add big company (Vistra) backing, and all the traditional bells and whistles (online account, weekly usage emails, etc)

Tri-Eagle has been one of our "Best Electricity Companies in Texas" list 2 times in the last 8 years. We like TriEagles flat rates, and market position. Sometimes they have a great rate sometimes they don't - Timiing is everything.

I just got off the phone with a representative, and I asked if I could get an extension, after I explained my situation, she told me my options, she was very patient with me, I was panicking because I didnt want my lights to be cut off, I was going to have the money in two weeks, neither to say by the time I got off the phone, I was a happy camper and my renewal is coming up, and trust me I will be renewing my service, cant remember the young lady name, but Thanks again
