Contract Issue
I was disappointed with the handling of an issue with a contract. My understanding was interpreted differently than conveyed by the representative I spoke with and now I am stuck in a contract that I did not want, unless I pay a cancellation fee. Will not recommend their service.
Poor customer service
Called FOUR times to add a new service to my existing account.
1. Was informed that I need to be transferred to a different team so was put on hold. Was on hold for about 30 minutes EACH time and got a message that "We are unable to take this call, please call back". Did for 4 times and each time I was assured by the first agent that they will make sure I am not disconnected.
2. Had to pay the $250 deposit and provide ID even though I have an existing account and am a customer for over 4 years.
3. Starting a new service with XOOM is very frustrating and tedious.
