Solarize 12 is a good plan for electricity customers who's usage fluctuates across usage tiers over the course of the year. What that means is customres who use 600 kWh in a month in the spring, but 1600 kWh in August. That way customers with wide varieances in usage don't get bitten by rates that have big jumps between usage tiers.

This is a pretty decent time of use plan for "Free Nights." The rates are low across all usage tiers of 500, 1000, and 2000 kWh. Of course, the $9.95 monthly base charge is very high for the market, and probably what makes the lower rates possible. The 11 PM window for free energy starts pretty late compared to some other plans, so folks who can schedule their appliances and/or have an electric vehicle to charge make the most sense for this plan. The cancellation fee of $15 per month remaining on contract is also nice.

BUYER BEWARE - CHARIOT ENERGY IS TERRIBLE

PREDATORY COMPANY, BUYER BEWARE -- Chariot Energy has been by far the worst electric company I've ever had (and I've had many). They CHANGE DUE DATES on your billing, then charge late fees. They hide this by the fact that you're not able to view your online bill for months at a time, all the meanwhile DOUBLE CHARGING YOU. On top of that, their CUSTOMER SERVICE dept is open from 8-5 MF, then 9am-1pm on Sat. So you better set some time away from your workday if you want to have an ATTEMPT of getting a ahold of someone. That's IF they even answer. You will actually get VOICEMAIL with this company and they will NOT REPLY. We have CONSTANT BLACKOUTS in the middle of the day. Resetting our clocks and interrupting our work day ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH. TERRIBLE, PREDATORY, DO NOT USE THEM!

Had a letter of credit from my old provider that I was using to get the deposit waived but apparently that's not good enough for them. They wanted 12 months of bills and when I accidentally gave them 11 they still wouldn't approve the switch. Impossible to deal with and I haven't even began service with them.
